Sachin Tendulkar, the former Indian cricketer, has been in the news in recent times after the coronavirus outbreak. Back in March, he donated a total of INR 50 lakhs to the PM-Cares Fund and the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. It’s not the first time, he came forward for charity word and every time he lent his helping hand, he was greeted with loads of praises and appreciation.
In the COVID-19 pandemic, the veteran has also given away one-month’s ration to 5,000 underprivileged people in Mumbai. Apart from helping the needy out, Sachin has been spending all his time at home with wife Anjali, son Arjun and daughter Sara. During this lockdown phase, which has now been extended until May 31, the barbers’ shops have mostly stayed closed.
Tendulkar turns a barber
Hence, people have faced difficulties in trimming their hair. But Sachin doesn’t seem to be facing too much of a problem. A few days ago, the Master Blaster uploaded a video where he was seen, cutting his own hair. Now he has turned a barber for his son Arjun. He shared a clip in which he was trimming Arjun’s hair, pretty gracefully. In the end, Sachin seemed to have done a decent job.
He also thanked daughter Sara for helping him out. Sachin captioned the video and wrote, “As a father you need to do everything, be it playing games with your kids, gyming with them or for that matter cutting their hair. However, the haircut turns out you’ll always be handsome. @arjuntendulkar24 Special thanks to my salon assistant @saratendulkar.”

Recently, Shoaib Akhtar, the former Pakistan fast bowler, said that Sachin could have gotten over 1.30 lakh runs if he was a part of the modern era. In his career, Tendulkar racked up over 34,000 runs for Team India with 100 centuries to show for his efforts.
He made his debut in 1989 against a fiery Pakistan bowling attack. From there on, he didn’t look back and kept garnering one laurel after the other. In 2013, he retired from international cricket after India’s Test against the West Indies at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
