Australian cricketer Glenn Maxwell had a very simple IPL 2020 season with Kings XI Punjab (KXIP). Despite playing 13 matches, he was able to score 108 runs at an average average of 15.42 and a poor strike rate of 101.88. After spending more than 10 crores at auction on it, Maxwell was expected to get the franchise much better. Till here Virender Sehwag Criticized him for the same and called him a cheerleader of 10 crores.

The Australian all-rounder has now responded to Sehwag’s jib and there is no complaint against his Indian counterpart. Glenn Maxwell understands that Sehwag is currently in the media and is outspoken. He is perfectly correct with the comments made by the former Indian cricketer and has learned to deal with it.

“That’s fine. Veeru is very clear with his dislike towards me, and that’s fine. He is allowed to say whatever he likes. He’s in the media for such statements, so that’s fine. I’m I deal with that and move forward, and take a grain of salt with Sehwag, ”Maxwell said while speaking to The West Australian.

Glenn Maxwell is now better equipped to deal with situations

Glenn Maxwell took a break from the game due to mental health problems. He was pulled out of the middle of Australia’s home season through the series and then made a close return of 2-3 months to the Big Bang League (Bbl). The result was his fresh mind and a brilliant performance in the T20 tournament. Talking about this, he says that the time he spent helped him to a large extent in the lockdown this year.

“I think I’m better off dealing with those things now. I think it was a great time to go through something like this, where I was able to do some ground work to deal with adverse situations. This year Certainly it has been extensively tested. To be able to help people through different times of difficult times and to be able to help themselves through those difficult times is really important, “he said.

Glenn Maxwell will now be in action in the upcoming ODI and T20 series against India, which will be at home with Tussle in the 50-over format starting on 27 November.
