International cricket will return to India from 5 February 2021
IND vs ENG 2021 : International cricket returns to India with the full tour of England in February for four tests, three ODIs and five T20Is from February 2021.
The England tour of India 2021 will kick-off on February 5 with the first two Tests in Chennai, followed by the next two in Ahmedabad. The five T20Is right after will also be played in Ahmedabad, while Pune will host the three ODIs
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Jay Shah confirmed that the day-night Test between India and England will commence from February 24 in Ahmedabad.
BCCI president Sourav Ganguly had revealed that India will play five T20Is against England when the visitors tour the country early next year.
The former India skipper had said that it will be a full-fledged tour of four Tests, three ODIs, and five T20Is.

- Fourth T20 – Mar 18
- Fifth T20 – Mar 20
- First ODI – Mar 23
- Second ODI – Mar 26 Third ODI – Mar 28
No international cricket has been played in India since March, 2020 when the series against South Africa was suddenly cancelled due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Earlier this year the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) was also moved to the UAE prompting speculation of other international assignments of India also moving to the country.
