The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 auction is expected to take place in mid-February, it will be a mini-auction.

BCCI AGM decided to push the addition of 2 new Teams/franchises to the 2022 IPL season because of which the 2021 season won’t have a mega-auction, instead we will have a mini-auction in the IPL 2021.

The BCCI is still undecided over the dates of the IPL 2021 mini-auction. Though certain rumours afloat in the cricketing fraternity indicate that the bidding-war might take place in the mid of February.

2021 IPL Team List ?

8 Teams will play the IPL 2021, the IPL 2021 Teams will remain the same- Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Mumbai Indians (MI), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Sun Risers Hyderabad (SRH), Delhi Capitals (DC) Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), Rajasthan Royals (RR).
