Before their match against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), Chennai Super Kings (CSK) had nothing but pride to play as their hopes of qualifying for the playoffs were already over. In fact, before their last two league matches, M S Dhoni And Co was knocked out of the tournament. However, for Sam Curran, the Super Kings had plenty of ‘incentives’ to watch, despite not being able to enter the second round.

22-year-old Karran left no stone unturned to say that ‘spoiling the party’ works as an ‘inspiration’ for other teams. The southpaw wanted to beat KL Rahul’s Kings XI and get out of the T20 league. The youngster also talked about how CSK defeated him for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Dubai’s courtier Ruturaj Gaikwad and Ravindra Jadeja’s Virgatha.

There are lots of incentives: Sam Curran

“Today is a big inspiration. Obviously, Kings XI can still qualify and if we beat them, we lose their hopes of qualifying. Things that inspire you spoil the party for other teams. Every game in the IPL is important because you are playing with such pride, you are playing for a badge and trying to win the game, ”Curren said during an interview with commentator Ian Bishop.

“There is a lot of encouragement because we can definitely spoil teams from other teams. Like the other day when we beat Kolkata, they were struggling for the playoffs. Now hopefully, we have to defeat Kings XI and they will be out too. Therefore, it is all good.

After their nine-wicket loss on Sunday, 1 November, Punjab were ruled out of the IPL 2020. But the knights are alive, well and truly. Dinesh Karthik defeated Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 60 runs and came fourth in the points table. Still, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) could beat them if they beat Mumbai Indians (MI) In Sharjah on Tuesday.

As far as Karran is concerned, he was the standout bowler for CSK taking 13 wickets. With the bat in hand, the talented England cricketer scored 186 with a top score of 52.
