54th match of Indian Premier League The action was seen between Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals. It was a do or die competition for both the Royals and Kolkata, but Rose later kept his playoff dream alive on this occasion. KKR won the game by 60 runs. Batting first, KKR posted a huge 191 on the board, where Eoin Morgan performed a perfect knock (68 * 35 runs) of a captain. Rahul Tripathi’s 34 runs contributed to the team’s progress.

Pat Cummins was named the player of the match for his true pace attack in the power play. Andre Russell returned to the game after a long time and eventually made his decent contribution, adding 25 in 11. Joffra Archer remained economical from RR after taking a wicket. Rahul Tewatia again showed his dominance on the ball with three wickets under his belt.

Hunting a challenging target, the RR top order failed to do the right thing in the match. Jose Butler’s 35 out of 22 was the only good spot for Rajasthan’s batting unit. Shivam Mavi was unprecedented as he conceded just 15 runs to take two wickets. On the other hand, Pat Cummins justified his big price tag by taking four big wickets today.
