Since the 13th edition Indian Premier League Concludes, cricket experts and pundits are changing massively with their opinions. Commentators and analysts from all over the world are talking on a variety of topics, and picking the favorite batsmen of the IPL 2020 has been their favorite subject. The latest in the line is former English player and commentator Michael Vaughan, who has picked his top 5 batsmen of the season.

In the latest video put out by Cricbuzz, Vaughan chose his best batsmen. He started with batsman number 5, and this slot is dedicated to KXIP captain KL Rahul. The prolific batsman was the Orange Cap winner of the season, scoring 670 runs in only 55 matches at an average of 55.83 in his bag. Although his team did not qualify for the playoffs, he replaced all the majors by collecting maximum runs in his bag.

Moving on to No. 4, Quinton de Cock was given a place for the champion team to be his absolute heroes. He scored 483 runs under his belt at a strike rate of 139.60 and became the hero of Mumbai on more than one occasion. The great thing about Vaughan’s selection was that apart from KL Rahul, all the batsmen came for the Mumbai Indians. Subsequently, he selected all-rounder Kieron Pollard at number 3.

Pollard scored 259 runs in 11 innings at a stunning strike rate of 190.44. His form remained very important for Mumbai throughout the season. No 2 places in Vaughn’s list sealed by big hitter Hardik Pandya. Pandya amassed 278 runs with his willow at a stunning strike rate of 182.89. The last place on his list is none other than Suryakumar Yadav.

The Mumbai Indians hero can play any type of ball to perfection and send it over the boundary. For Australia, his omission from the team is under much debate. Cricket experts around the world are constantly praising the hero of Mumbai Indians. He scored 281 runs in his bag in 14 matches at an average of 41.91.
