MS Dhoni likes to sit with everyone and have dinner: Mohammed Shami
MS Dhoni, the former Indian skipper is an admirable figure in international cricket. He has achieved a lot as Team India’s captain in comparison to those in the past. He is also known for his down to earth nature as he always remains calm and composed on the field. Earlier, many players talked about his generous behavior towards his teammates and opponents as well. Now, Mohammed Shami, the Indian speedster has revealed a special quality of Ranchi-born star.
The 29-year-old pacer has evolved into an established bowler in international cricket under Virat Kohli’s captaincy. But, he made his debut under MS Dhoni. He said that the gloveman always used to treat everyone in the team quite amazingly. He added that the former World Cup winner never showed any kind of dominant nature over any player.

Shami also recited a good quality of ‘Captain Cool’ that he always used to have dinner with players. The pacer asserted that he has spent a lot of time with Dhoni and has a lot of fun intended memories.
“I played in all the formats under him barring IPL. With regard to guidance, he will always treat his teammates in such a way that you won’t even feel that he is MS Dhoni. He is such a big player. I have a lot of memories with him. Now also we think, Mahi Bhai will come and it will be fun playing. One thing I like is he (Dhoni) likes to sit with everyone and have dinner. There are always two-four people with him. We chat till late night, and these are the things that one misses,” the fast bowler revealed during a live Instagram session.
MS Dhoni, who has not played any competitive cricket after 2019 World Cup semi-final, was all set to mark his return as he was scheduled to play for Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2020. However, the tournament was suspended for an indefinite period by BCCI amid the COVID-19 outbreak. But, his fans and cricketing fraternity are hopeful that he will be back soon on the field.
