Rashid Khan names the three toughest batsmen he has bowled to

One of the many shining stars from Afghanistan, Rashid Khan, proved to be a successful franchise cricket wayfarer in recent years.

After hogging all the limelight while representing Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the Indian Premier League (IPL), the wrist-spinner went on to don the jerseys of the top franchises around the world.

Namely, the Adelaide Strikers in the Big Bash League (BBL), Comilla Victorians in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), the Durban Heat in the Mzanzi Super League (MSL), to name a few.

Also, he represented Sussex in the English T20 blast, Guyana Amazon Warriors in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), and Quetta Gladiators in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Rashid has had his fair share of experience in the shortest format of the game at a young age. In the 211 T20 games he has featured in thus far, Rashid scalped 296 wickets.

Recently, he also displayed his all-round prowesses with handy contributions lower down the order.
The Afghan sensation even translated his T20 success at the international level. In Odys, Rashid has clinched 133 wickets in only 71 games at an exceptional average of 18.54.

In a recent interaction with popular broadcaster, Jatin Sapru, Rashid was asked about the three toughest batsmen he faced in his glittering career.

To which Rashid named Caribbean powerhouse Andre Russell and Chris Gayle, along with India’s marquee all-rounder Hardik Pandya.

The trio has had the better of the leggie whenever their franchises faced off against SRH. Russell has been one of the mainstays at the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).

While Hardik has been the prized possession for Mumbai Indians (MI) of-late. Their respective franchises retained both Russell and Pandyas before the mega auctions of 2018.

After a successful stint at the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Gayle, meanwhile, made a move north to Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in the 2018 edition of the IPL.
