Indian captain Virat Kohli has admitted that it can be difficult for players to live in a bio-safe bubble. The Delhi-born is currently part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the 2020 Indian Premier League (IPL) and has already been part of the bio-safe bubble for two months.

It does not end for Virat because after the completion of the T20 tournament, he will go to Australia where Team India has to play a Test, ODI and T20I series. Visiting Australia Will start on 27 November and continue until 19 January with the last Test at the Gabba in Brisbane.

Kohli left no stone unturned to say that living in a bio-safe bubble can affect the mental health of cricketers. He also asked to reconsider the length of a series.

These things have to be considered seriously: Virat Kohli

“It is repetitive, it is not as difficult when the group of people is amazing, which we have. All part of that bio-bubble is really good, the vibe is so good. That is why we have enjoyed playing together, just enjoyed our time in the bubble, but it gets difficult at times because it is repetitive, ”Virat was told on RCB TV.

“These things have to be considered. For example, what should be the length of the tournament or series and what will be the mental impact on the players to stay in the same environment for 80 days and not do anything different. Or just a place to go and see things like family or small things.

“These things have to be seriously considered. At the end of the day, you want the players to be in the best state mentally, depending on how they are feeling. Those conversations should happen regularly, ”the 32-year-old said.

Kohli has done quite well in the IPL. RCB qualified for the playoffs and will play against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) On Friday 6 November at the Eliminator at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. Virat’s own form has been a bit irritable, but he remains an important member of the team.
