The cricketing events have been put on hold in the entire world due to COVID-19 outbreak, followed by the worldwide lockdown. In the meantime, the cricketers from different parts of the globe are utilising the free time by running Q/A sessions on Twitter and participating in the Instagram live symposiums.

In a similar fashion, South Africa’s Tabraiz Shamsi was involved in an Instagram live session with CricTracker, where the left-arm spinner answered many questions.

During the conversation, Shamsi revealed his current ‘Fab 4’ list featuring top-quality spinners. The 30-year-old started the proceedings by naming his countryman Imran Tahir. The right-arm spinner made ‘googly’ his biggest weapon in the limited-overs formats.

Tahir has built his image as one of the finest leg-spinners of white-ball cricket. The Lahore-born bowler has played 107 Odys and 38 T20Is, in which he has scalped 173 and 38 wickets, respectively.

Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan was next in Shamsi”s list. Ever since the leggie debuted in the international arena, he has impressed everyone with his outstanding variations. Rashid fetched the highest ever bid for an Associated player in the IPL Auction. He was snapped up by Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) for INR 4 crores (US$ 597,000). Rashid has taken 133 wickets in 71 Odys and 89 in the 48 T20Is.

Shamsi then picked India’s finest leg-spinner at present Yuzvendra Chahal. Chahal has been a crucial aspect in the Indian limited-overs side for Indian cricket. No one can forget his brilliant spell when he registered his career-best figures (6 for 25) during the game against England in January 2017. The 29-year-old has bagged 91 ODI wickets and 55 T20I wickets. He has played 52 ODI matches and 42 T20Is.

In the end, Shamsi selected another quality leg-break bowler Shadab Khan. The young Pakistani bowler burst onto cricket”s arena during the 2016/17 Pakistan Super League (PSL) season. He’s also a useful lower-order right-handed batsman which helps the team during crunch situations. Shadab has appeared in 43 Odys and 40 T20Is for the ‘Men in Green’ in which the 21-year-old has scalped 59 and 48 wickets, respectively.
