Bangladesh cricketer Shakib Al Hasan said that his national teammates have every right not to trust him after being suspended by the ICC for concealing information about the corrupt approach. On Thursday, October 29, the 33-year-old ban ended and he is set to mark his return to competitive cricket. He has not played any form of cricket since 2019 CPL in October 2019.

Although the stalwarts do not believe that their teammates doubt them, they understand that players who do not trust will not be unnatural. It’s been almost 14 months since he last donated the national jersey during the tri-nation T20I series at home Zimbabwe And Afghanistan, in September 2019.

“It’s a difficult question (will they doubt me) because I’m not sure what’s going on in someone’s mind.” They can doubt me or have no faith in me and I do not reject it completely, ”Shakib was quoted as saying in an interview with Cricbuzz.

“But as I have spoken with almost everyone, I did not feel it that way (that they are mistrusting me). I think they will believe me the way they used to do but as you said, anyone can doubt me in any corner of his mind because it is such a thing, ”he said.

I plan to reach where I left off: Shakib Al Hasan

Shakib’s suspension came at a time when he was at the peak of his powers. Although the Tigers could not make it to the semi-finals of the 2020 World Cup, they lived up to expectations with both bat and ball. In the tournament, he also scored centuries against England and the West Indies.

“My plan is to reach where I have left and I am determined to do so. I want to repay you for all the support. The fans were behind me, exceeding my expectations, ”the veteran noted while talking about his goals for the upcoming time.

In the COVID-19 epidemic, Shakib spent time with his family in the United States (UAE). In difficult times, he also worked through his foundation, and lent to help the needy. Back in April, he also became a father to a second child with a wife. Umme Ahmed Shishir.
