Virat Kohli fined 12 lakh for slow over rate against KXIP in IPL 2020 Match

After RCB’s defeat against Kings XI last night, captain Virat Kohli was fined Rs 12 Lakh due to slow over rate in the 6th match of IPL 2020.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) suffered a crushing defeat by Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) by 97 runs in the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Thursday.

A double blow to RCB captain Virat Kohli on thursday as he was fined for slow over rate against KXIP after the team’s defeat. Virat Kohli was fined Rs 12 lakh for this.

With the help of a classic unbeaten century (132) by captain Lokesh Rahul, Kings XI Punjab scored a huge score of 206 for just 3 wickets. In response, RCB’s innings was reduced to 109 runs in 17 overs by KXIP bowlers.

Virat Kohli would never like to remember the performance of this match. Virat Kohli contributed significantly to Punjab captain KL Rahul’s record century.

Kohli droppped easy catches when Rahul was on 83 and 89 runs. After this, when RCB team descended to chase the huge Target, Virat Kohli was out by scoring just 1 run. He was dismissed by Sheldon Cottrell as bishoni took the catch.
