Virat Kohli’s contribution to help India fight the Coronavirus Pandemic
India captain Virat Kohli has pledged to provide 30,000 meals to those in need during tough COVID-19 times with his associated brand One8 Commune.
Kohli shared the story on his Instagram handle wherein there are photos of workers preparing food packets for the needy who are struggling to bring food to their table.
India skipper Virat Kohli also took part in an online concert to raise funds to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
As part of the initiative by ‘iFor India’, actors, musicians, singers, sportspersons, and business leaders came together to entertain people from their homes in a bid to help the COVID-19 pandemic cause
Virat with his Royal Challengers Bangalore teammates AB de Villiers put up equipmentsm, that were used during their historic partnership against Gujarat Lions in 2016 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) .
Those were put up on online auction in order to raise funds for fight against coronavirus pandemic.
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, the couple earlier jointly donated Rs 3 crore to the PM-CARES Fund & the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (Maharashtra).
