Yuvraj Singh reveals that he feel very relaxed after retirement
Two-time World Cup winner Yuvraj Singh is very happy with his life after retirement from cricket.
Yuvraj believes that there has been a pause in his life, due to which he is feeling very relaxed in life.
Remind you all here that Yuvraj, the hero of the Indian cricket team’s 2007 T20 World Cup and 2011 ODI World Cup victories, had retired from international cricket last year (2019) .
Yuvraj told host Gaurav Kapoor, ‘The day I retired, I felt very free. Obviously it was an emotional moment, I cannot describe it in words but I felt really free. I had not been able to sleep properly for years, after that I started getting sound sleep. I feel very relaxed now. I was at a point where cricket was not helping me mentally. I was just pulling myself up, and wondering when I should retire, should I retire? ‘
During the convo with Gaurav , Yuvraj also said that he still remembers his memorable innings and remembers cricket but still feels relaxed because he knows that he has played this game for many years.
He said, ‘When your life is running fast, you don’t realize many things and suddenly you stop by’ oh ‘what happened. I sometimes miss the game but not too much because I have played for so many years. I get so many messages from fans, I feel very blessed. I am proud of the honor given to me by the game.”
It is worth mentioning that before his retirement, Yuvi played 304 ODIs, 58 T20Is and 40 Tests for Team India and played the most important role in the Indian team’s title win in 2007 T20 World Cup and 2011 ODI World Cup.
Yuvraj was also awarded the ‘Man of the Tournament’ award at the 2011 World Cup for his outstanding performance.
