Bollywood actress Chitrangada Singh names the cricketer she likes the most

The bond between cricket and Bollywood is very old in India. With the popularity of the cricketers second to none in this cricket-obsessed nation, it seems not only the fans but also the Bollywood stars are quite obsessed with the Indian players. Several relationships between the cricketers and the film actresses are examples of it.

Well, Bollywood diva Chitrangada Singh also seems to be a keen observer of the game. She recently held a question and answer session on Twitter for her fans. One of those fans asked her about the cricketer she likes the most. In reply, Chitrangada took the name of former Indian captain MS Dhoni.

Chitrangada, who has starred in films like Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, Desi Boyz, Sorry Bhai, Inkaar and Baazaar, is currently penning a short film script amid the lockdown. The actress is in the final stages of finishing the script. She will next be seen alongside Abhishek Bachchan in Bob Biswas.

Dhoni, on the other hand, is far away from the hustle and bustle of international cricket. The veteran stumper has not played competitive cricket since the conclusion of India’s campaign at the World Cup.

After the tournament ended, Dhoni took a two-month break from the game. Speculations are rife over his future as many expect him to finally hang up his boots after the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). However, the T20 tournament has been suspended indefinitely by the BCCI in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
